Discover our vision, mission, values and the people who drive CAFF's commitment to sustainable agriculture, resilient forests and safe, nutritious food for Africa.
The College of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Science (CAFF) at the University of Rwanda was established in 2014, bringing together the country's leading institutions in agronomy, forestry, animal science and food technology under one roof.
Our teaching and research respond directly to Rwanda's national priorities and the African Union's Agenda 2063 — building productive, climate-resilient and market-oriented agri-food systems while protecting the natural resource base on which they depend.
Through field-based training, applied research and strong partnerships with farmers, cooperatives, industry and government, CAFF graduates are equipped to solve real problems in real landscapes.
